JaggerSpun 2/8 Heather yarns are top-dyed, worsted spun, 27-29 micron "fingering gauge" wool yarns. The heather effect is created by blending together many different shades of dyed wool fiber to achieve each unique yarn color.
Made in Maine of soft, medium grade wool, these yarns will easily make a way into clothing and home decor projects. As worsted spun yarns, they are smoother and more lustrous than woolen spun yarns and won't full as much as woolen spuns when washed/finished, so plan on a closer sett or tighter gauge (finish your swatch to determine if you like the finished piece before proceeding).

JaggerSpun yarns are dyed with the finest low-impact synthetic dyes possible. Excess dyes may be present in some highly saturated colors so sample first. If excess dye is present, skein the yarn and rinse until the water runs clear. Deep purples may not be colorfast when exposed to sun, so avoid prolonged exposure to bright light. 2/8 Heathers are completely compatible with Jaggerspun MaineLine 2/8 solid color dyed Wools (Item 022).

Care: Hand wash in cool water or dry clean. Lay flat to dry.
